Belgian Bobbinlace Applique on Machine-Made Net handkerchief

14.5" square. Lace is ~2.15" deep.
Very good condition, a few pinholes in the mesh. Vertical and horizontal handkerchief creases. The piece has an 'ironed look' with some edge motifs folded over. Piece is slightly beige in color.

A square handkerchief of bobbin-made small motifs appliqued on machine tulle. The only fillings are small single needle-made knots in the centers of flowers. Floral and leaf design with a diamond-shaped lattice close to the border. The design in all four sides is the same, each side with a mirror reflection around the center line. Some motifs have minor variations, probably just technical interpretations.
